# Blijf up-to-date met Google Alerts

Wat wordt er gezegd over je merk of bedrijf op social media? En voor jou persoonlijk: hoe en waar vind je makkelijk en snel informatie waar jij en je klanten wat aan hebben? Dit zijn vragen waar Google Alerts antwoord op geeft. Aarzel dus niet en stel een Google Alerts in voor dingen waarvan je op de hoogte wilt blijven!

## Up-to-date

Google geeft desgewenst iedere dag een update. Deze keywords zouden kunnen zijn:  
• Een term uit je bedrijfstak  
• De merknaam van producten die je bedrijf voert  
• Je bedrijfsnaam  
• Je eigen naam

## Google Alerts instellen

Google Alerts is eenvoudig in te stellen. En al helemaal met het volgende stappenplan:  
1. Ga naar http://www.google.nl/alerts  
2. Vul bij “zoekopdracht” een zoekwoord in.  
3. Laat “Type resultaat” en “Hoe vaak” staan zoals ze worden voorgesteld.  
4. Je kan kiezen of je alleen de beste resultaten wil, of alle resultaten. Begin voor de zekerheid met alle resultaten.  
Als dit er te veel blijken te zijn, dan kan je dit altijd nog wijzigen.  
5. Vul je e-mailadres in.  
Google Alerts | Blijf up-to-date | Make Marketing Magic  
6. Klik op de bevestigingslink in de e-mail die je in je mailbox krijgt.  
7. Herhaal bovenstaande stappen als je meer Alerts wilt aanmaken.  
Je Google Alerts melding is nu aangemaakt. Elke keer dat op het internet iets wordt geschreven over het door jou opgegeven onderwerp, krijgt je een melding. Dit kan handig zijn voor je nieuwsbrief of andere content. Actueler wordt het namelijk niet.
